THE QUEEN OF STEEL:

Lap steel virtuoso Patti Maxine is one of the hardest working musicians in Santa Cruz, California. A session player in constant demand, Patti plays most nights of the week. A musical Swiss army knife, she handles a wide variety of styles with ease, sliding gracefully from Hawaiian to swing, from R&B and rock, from blues to jazz and back again.

THE MEETING:

I fell for Patti the moment I saw her image on the cover of Santa Cruz’s local paper Good Times, announcing an upcoming show and recording. After sharing it with my fiancé Lindsie Feathers, we knew it would be love at first site! Lucky for us we have shared the stage for a few shows here and look forward to much, much more.
